I had the privileged to post 4 of my original paintings in the establishment. Iā€™m glad i took the chance to experience such a wonderful time.

This is part of my journey during 2024

This art piece is titled, Chalchiuhtlicue (goddess of the ocean), 2024

Medium: Acrylic, wood panel

Size: 48-inch by 35-inch

The piece is inspired by Chalchiuhtlicue, the Azteca goddess of water, rivers, lakes, seas, storms, and baptism. She also symbolizes fertility, renewal, emotional depth, and spiritual purification. The wave symbolizes a dominion over water, our own water within the body. It is correlated to life that is in water. This element also provides the transformation power such as life-giving. This can also reflect the cycle of creation, destruction, and renewal. The movement of waves mirrors the human experience of emotional highs and lows, emphasizing the flow of wisdom and the movement of energy. I was inspired to create a feminine figure to show my place among the ancestors of the water element.
