KCAD Annual Student Exhibition 2025

Super excited for this annual event happening in May. As a graduate student, this event will be another platform for one of my paintings to be displayed! Guess which painting is going to be part of this exhibition?!?

I’m honored and grateful for “Cha Cha” art piece to be where it needs to be! Since, the first revealing at Muse Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, now moving to Devos center for a wider range of viewers to read the statement of this artwork and the continual revolutionary movement for others to get to know a bit more about Jose Cha Cha Jimenez and his legacy. I believe it is crucial and vital for an activist visual content to be well-deserved display and to uplifts voices whose have done the heavy work in the past. It is our duty as artists to use any opportunity given as a way to impact the community. I can’t wait! Hope to see some familiar faces in this space. Breaking barriers and taking names!
