Thank you for supporting Steps of hope: Freedom in motion
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended Steps of Hope: Freedom in Motion on February 21st. Your presence made the event truly special, and together, we created a space for healing, creativity, and community connection.
From the breathtaking performances by poets Shayna Akanke Maria, Carina Leslie Orduna, youth poet/entrepreneur Yaniah, improv music session, the beautiful energy shared in every moment, and the evening embodied the spirit of resilience and freedom. The winter-themed storefront installation served as a reminder of the ever-flowing journey of hope and transformation.
A special thank you to everyone who contributed through donations-your generosity supports the incredible work to give back to our community and every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Our legacy sponsor Bella Concrete Construction, from the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your incredible support and believing in what we do!
I would like to also give thanks to Downtown of Grand Rapids Incorporate aligned with the World of Winter festival, for the opportunity you have given me as a local artist to display such a beautiful mural for the storefront window installation this year. And I would like to say thank you to Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids nonprofit organization, allowing me to utilize one of their properties for this event and making it a free entry for the community to experience such a wonderful gathering. I appreciate the connections and the abundance to share with others.
This event was more than just an artistic gathering; it was a movement of unity, love, and empowerment. Stay connected for future events and projects that continue this mission.
